#yolo

Everyone says "I want to go skydiving" and then they never do it. But see I was the person that said "I want to go skydiving" and I DID!
So I've always wanted to go but I sure didn't want to go alone.
So I took my favorite person :) That's right I took Michael Thomas Lunt.
Back in January as his birthday present I told him that I'd take him skydiving.
7 months later we finally went.

So we had a little hiccup--when we got there we had to prove that we were 18 but Bubba couldn't find his wallet anywhere. So after a good half hour of freaking out we finally got a picture of his permit from his mom. Phew.

So we watched a video, looked at the plane, learned how to jump and how to fall(yes there really is a proper way to fall) met our tandems and got our harnesses on. And walked out to the plane. This really is happening!!
I got in the plane first (since I was going second) and Nick came in after me. Then Bubba then Steve. Took off down the runway and we were flying. We flew around, they showed us all the cool places, and we were telling dumb jokes all the ride. It was so funny:)
Then we were above the landing site. Ahh!
We clipped into our tandems, put on our goggles, and the door popped open. This was it.
Bubba put his legs out(not without a little trouble, haha he has those long legs you know) and then Steve put his out. They said bye to the camera and they jumped.
Now I was psyched the WHOLE time but when I saw Bubba falling from the plane I was like "oh my gosh, this is real, and there he goes"
Our turn.
We put our legs out. He climbed out on the little ledge and flipped around. We were going BACKWARDS. Ahhhh!! I waved bye to the pilot he said "Bye Amy!" and we fell backwards.
Tumbled a couple times and fell 10,000 feet at who knows how many mph.
Screaming was heard that's for sure!
The falling part was definitely my favorite. It was crazy, there are no words to accurately describe the feeling. But I loved it. Exhilarating. Thrilling. SO worth doing it again.

Here's some pictures for you to enjoy:
