day cinco

I did it again folks. I had a fabulously put together day.
My scrubs matched my underwear
#tmi
Oh, AND my socks matched too. I looked like a blueberry (today was blue day, please enjoy the picture below)

(that's my sock in the top right ps, I wanted to prove they matched)
And my phone matched too!!

Day 5 without MTL, let's just start by saying THE STRUGGLE IS REAL. I miss that goober more than I love kittens. And that's a lot. Like A LOT. It's crazy to think that my life is so empty without that kid. I mean, I'm sitting there at work and by the end of the day I'm SO excited to go home. but these past couple of days, at the end of the day I'm thinking to myself:
"Yay work is almost over! Now I get to go home... to... what? Bubba isn't there. Well. I might as well stay here."

But for reals. There is NOTHING for me to do.
I've been thinking about learning to knit or something to pass the time.
Just kidding haha I'm not that much of a loser. I've been hanging out with my two girly friends Carly and Emily. It's been a good time:)

Anyway. Today.
We had 10 emergencies at work today. SO MANY. And it was just me and Jen working today--she is pregnant--therefore I had to take all the xrays. Ooh yikes. I have to tell you about my last patient of the day.
He's like 93, and have you ever seen the thief and the cobbler? Because this guy sounded JUST like the thief. So it was pretty funny and terrifying at the same because he was growling GROWLING instead of breathing. And then he'd hack and hack and hack---yuck it was disgusting. I felt sorry for him but also wanted to puke at the same time. Luckily I didn't. I was able to hold it in. But his wife as thye were leaving said "much grass"

Ok. Did this woman mean muchos gracias? That's the only thing I could make sense of that. Maybe in her old head that made sense. Bless her heart.

I come home and yeeeeee Miles is here!  So we went on a walk!

And he's the cutest lil stink! We played in the sprinklers and even had popsicles! Then to top it all off and prove my excellent mothering skills--- at one point Miles ran to the bathroom and said poop poop. Sadly grandma was in there so I ran with Miles to mi madre et padres bathroom and held him on the toilet and HE POOPED YAY!! Then I fed him and put him to bed. #momskills

Turns out I wouldn't be too terrible of a mother.

Also. Yesterday was the YSA class BBQ at the Lunt's and we made stick biscuits and roasted marshmallows--also Ruby accidentally burned ALL of the hamburgers and hot dogs. #charcoalfordays  aaaaaand my stick biscuit looked like a bulldog

see it? see it?!
Anyway. Work is good. Miles is adorable. And I miss the lick out of Bubba.
MICHAEL YOU CAN'T HEAR ME BUT I'M YELLING AND I WANT YOU TO COME HOME

peace out y'all

PS-- Baby Daisy (my cutie little white roketa) LOVES the sun. She has a hard time getting up to speed when it's cooler but when it's warm outside and the sun is shining man she cruises! I love my scooter!! :)
