We adopted!

Once upon a time my best friend, Michael got a job at the Old Spaghetti Factory. And what comes with the perks of having a job? HALF OFF! So naturally He and I go on a date there. And how could it get anymore perfect?
-My favorite person.
-My favorite food (passssta)
-And it's half off (not that I was paying... but still a discount is a discount! It should be celebrated!)

I told him to look happy in the picture but this was all I managed to get from him... I think he was upset because I made him order the drink  that "looks so good" and he didn't really want it. Haha. But anyway we ate and it was so delicious.
After dinner we hurried off to the store where they sell chickens. Did you know they have a store? I had no idea. Anyway. Bubba knew that what I wanted more than anything in the world was a baby chick. So we went to go get one. But since chicks don't like to be alone and would die without at least another friend. We got TWO! I picked them out. Bubba got the food. And we were off!

The car ride home with our "kids" was the most exciting thing. I was holding two living things in my arms and they were the most adorable thing. We decided one was a boy and the other a girl.

I got to name the girl. She's the one on the right. That's Wanda. She's a little chub and has fuzzy feet. how cute?
Then the boy, who is quite adventurous and fierce, that's Maximus. He's a born leader that one!
Well we took them home, Ruby and Marcus just had a ball with them.

Who knew being a "parent" could be so fun?!
But be careful. They poop without a moments notice!

Anyway. Just wanted to share this fun memory with you. I promise I'll write more.
