{preference}

Well, about a month ago it was Preference... and it was the BEST date I've ever been on :)

Our group was:

Jennie&Erik

 

Carly&Derek

     Rachel&Kennen

Aubree&Jake

Katelyn&Tagart

Me&Hayden

ORIGINAL PLANS: 

pick up boys for day date at 12:30

Get there at 1.  Lasertag from one o' clock to two o' clock

Go to Macey's. eat. Drop off. Everyone home by 3.

three LONG hours for everyone to get ready ((Aubree has to do 3 peoples hair))

start picking up at 6- 6:30

pictures at 6:45

whatever happens from there is cool.... well this is what happened...

Starting picking up at 12:45 ((although we didn't have to pick up Hayden so that saved us sometime)) OUR car got there at ten after one... the OTHER car got there a bit after that. Being the kind souls we were we decided to wait for Hayden. ((He had a baptism to attend and would be there late)) he said he'd be there in 10-15 minutes... ten minutes later the group decided to just go in and Hayden could join as soon as he got there. anyway. laser tagging ended up going from 1:30ish to 2:30ish. which ended in getting home from Macey's afterward was 4... instead of three...

But anyway.

We went laser tagging for the day date.
                                                              1st game=team one vs. team two
                                                              2nd game=boys vs. girls

game of girls vs. boys:  
                                       "How will we know where to find them?" -boys

  *girls screaming*  

"Oh. We'll know." -boys

After 2 games full of--- Tron, screaming, shooting the wrong people, being chased and followed, Star Wars, running, falling, Mission Impossible, and the boys winning by an impossibly LARGE amount...

we went to get ice cream at Macey's.

2 hours later I was MORE than ready to go pick up the boys. I call Carly. 

"Hey are you ready?"

"Well... uh no. I'm doing my make-up right now... Haven't started my hair yet. And I haven't even picked up my boutonniere!"

Oh dear. So I tell her that I'll pick up her boutonniere and that me and Rachel will be over in a second to help. 

well, things didn't go according to ANY plans. But we finally ended up taking pictures around 7:30ish.
We took pictures inside and outside my dad's office. It also was lightly snowing so we took pictures in the falling snow:)
We had cafe rio for dinner and had a little incident with an allergic reaction with Jennie but all was well.
We went to the dance and had a smashing time then afterwards came back to the office and proceeded to play the "pose game" while my parents made cake waffles ((which didn't turn out as well as they could've)) we also played murderer in the dark...oh boy was THAT an intense game Turns out my very own date was the murderer, and he tried to kill me no less!
After all the fun and games it was time to go home. We dropped off our dates. had a little girl chat. then went home.
All in all I'd say it was a successful date:) Thanks Hayden.
